The Store If you’re over in Ventnor, treat yourself to one of the best coffee’s on the Island. There’s so many other goodies to purchase, but it’s obvious we come for coffee.

Mod Eisley Cantina About a minute’s stroll from Oceanic on Thompson, this star-wars themed coffee shop delivers menu items that are out of this world.

G’day Tiger A little hole in the wall cafe, but big love goes to this one. You have to go to believe the hype.

Cafe Biscotti Another must try on the main street, just across from the Berninneit cultural centre.

Pino’s Trattoria Perfect for families, they offer great pizza, pasta and gelati. They are also right behind Phillip Island Apartments, so you can easily pick up a pizza to go.

Bani’s Restaurant & Bar Sit outside to people watch and enjoy Modern Mediterranean with Greek influences.

Hotel On the corner of the esplanade and main street, you can enjoy a meal or a drink with friends, either indoor or outdoor overlooking the beach.

Isola Di Capri A slice of Italy on the other corner of the esplanade and main street. After dinner or anytime really, grab a delicious ice cream from their shop next door, Isola Gelato.

Bass Strait Direct In Newhaven has the freshest, locally caught seafood on the Island.

The Nobbies & Visitor Centre

Overlooking the Bass Strait, the Nobbies boasts spectacular clifftop views. Follow the road past the Penguin Parade, through the scenic Summerland Peninsula, until you reach the very tip. Explore the winding boardwalks and see the explosive blowhole in action. Gaze out to the Nobbies rock formations and beyond to Seal Rocks, home of Australia’s largest fur seal colony. You may even spot a migrating whale in the right season.

The view from the Penguin Parade to the Nobbies Cycling Track will take your breath away, literally – It can get quite windy, so wear appropriate clothing.


Phillip Island Grand Prix Circuit & Go Karts

Situated alongside the world-famous circuit overlooking Bass Straight, the 750-meter replica Go Kart track is the ultimate Go Kart destination. Take a step back in time in the History of Motorsport Display at the Visitor Centre and learn all about Phillip Island’s strong racing heritage. Featured in the display is the superb collection of images, cars, memorabilia and 25 Grand Prix motorcycles from the two famous Italian marques, Aprilia and Cagiva.


The Penguin Parade

Phillip Island is home to the largest Little Penguin colony in the world. You can experience the magic of watching these amazing seabirds waddle home from the ocean to their burrows any night of the year from the viewing platforms and boardwalks. You can also take a ranger-guided tour.


Churchill Island

A visit to Churchill Island (located just off Phillip Island) calms the mind, with wide-open spaces to wander and fresh air to breathe. Explore the historical grounds and farming activities, walk the bay trails soaking in the tranquil scenery and enjoying the bird watching huts, or relax on the deck of the café with a coffee or tea in hand.
